The courses are meant to be taken in whatever order your walk demands. Most people start with the free one, then add whichever of the others matches the thing that went wrong first: the pharmacy after the blisters, rooms after the first full albergue, buses after the first stage nobody could finish. Each one is short enough to work through in a few evenings, and each is ordered so the topics build on the ones before them rather than sitting in a list.
